I like the demos from

1. Craig Mundie’s demo. Future vision 2019 is becoming reality.
2. Steve Sinofsky’s Windows ECO demo. Cool hardware and the best joke today -- "cloud computing” & "be green. it's aluminium".
3. Yusuf’s Bing demo. Bing 2.0 rocks. new browsing UX.

Normal demos

1. Gary Flake’s demo. it’s a duplication of Yusuf’s demo but with more details. it’s a perfect example of incubation though.
2. EDD’s demo. I have played ZuneHD/Winmo6.5 (thanks to xda-dev) so nothing new to me. voice clip feature is even available back to winmo5.
3. Steve Sinofsky’s WinLive demo is short. much attention was on the-totoally-re-write movie maker.
4. microblog. it’s nice to see a SDE II to give presentation at company meeting.
5. Visual Studio 14. you know it’s hard for STB to give a demo. but I thought they were showing Odd.

It could be cool if they showed

1. New apps for Natal/Zune/Winmo market.
2. Office 14.
3. next generation XBOX or any vision about it.

Other highlights

1. Qi Lu stated OSD vision to whole company. He speaks very good English.
2. Windows team received most credits.
3. LisaB played Project Natal. I think she played better than RobbieB.
4. Human earthquake! I doubt if they can measure the movement in UW but it’s fun.
5. SteveBallmer really HATES iPhone.
6. Jokes that dwarfing APPL/GOOG/facebook/twitter/myspace.
7. Many interns are back as FTE and I met some of them today.

Other

1. SteveB’s closing speech was too long.. but eventually i saw the authentic developersdevelopersdevelopers on company meeting stage. the last time I saw it was at main campus soccer field by steveb.
2. Do you believe people will hold parties to celebrate win7 launch? they must be geeky enough..
3. Nobody mentioned emerging market. China has been mentioned twice and no other bric countries. for the first time, it was sarcastic “we lost (Windows) market share in China, where we don’t get paid for”…
